Embroidery Yarn, 5 shades x 40 yds 

This is the wool yarn we use most for our reproduction embroidery work. It is smooth & slightly lustrous, very dye receptive for our vegetable dyeing process and as close as we've found to the wirey texture of period crewel yarns. When you purchase 5 shades of a single hue, you save a bit compared to the price of single skeins and we have chosen them as we would for our own work--for their relationship to one another and even gradient of color from light to dark.
